REP's Equalizer™ iron plates are our highest-quality USA-made, cast-iron Olympic plates, featuring extreme attention to detail and symmetrical grip holes for easy maneuverability. A smooth outer rim with beveled edges provides a comfortable grip, and the six precision-cut grip holes (on the heavier plates) also make it easy to use the individual plates for exercises. These plates were designed in Colorado and made in the USA. Weight tolerance is guaranteed to be within 2%.
Equalizer™ iron plates – including the rims, text, and sides -- are finished with a premium metallic black E-coat, which provides an even coating that is extra durable and aesthetic. A machine-drilled center hole creates a tight fit on all standard-sized barbells. Equalizer™ iron plates are sold in pairs (2.5, 5, 10, 25, 35, and 45lbs), as well as nine different sets (from 175-425lbs).

BLOGS
The new Equalizer™ iron plates are made in the USA. They feature a premium metallic black E-coat finish throughout, including on the embossed numbers and letters (the original version had white painted text). Additionally, the updated version features a smooth outer rim with beveled edges for comfort, whereas the original version had a rounded outer rim.
E-coat is a finishing process where the plate is dipped in a bath containing the finishing particles, and an electric current is applied to the plate to apply the finish to it. E-coat provides a more premium look than powder coat and applies more evenly to the plate.
We do not recommend mixing any other plates with our bumpers because the nonuniform diameters can create uneven stress on the bar, which may damage it over time.
We do not recommend dropping iron plates, as it can damage the bar, the plates, and the floor.
Yes, they have a 1-year warranty.
