Yoke

FAQ

What can you do with a yoke besides carries?

Beyond heavy walks, REP’s Oxylus™ yoke can be configured for squat-stand work, sled pushes/pulls, and frame-style carries when paired with the right accessories.

How do I pick the right yoke height (77" vs 92")?

Choose 77" if you have lower ceilings or mostly train carries; go 92" if you’re taller or want extra clearance for pull-ups and overhead work. Always measure your ceiling height and available walk path.

Which accessories should I add for my goals?

UHMW liners help protect floors and enable sled work; the carry attachment adds frame/deadlift options and grip variations; a pull-up bar turns the yoke into a rugged pull-up station. For broader setup ideas, check our at‑home strongman gym essentials.

Will a yoke damage my floors or be loud indoors?

Metal skids can scrape and make noise; REP’s UHMW liners reduce friction, protect surfaces, and quiet pushes/pulls. Using rubber mats or training on concrete further minimizes wear and sound.

Is a yoke only for strongman athletes, or can beginners use it?

Beginners can use a yoke by starting light, bracing hard, and taking short, controlled steps. REP yokes are adjustable to fit different users and progress with your training.
