Thick Pad
High-density, 4” back pad is covered in grippy vinyl and can be upgraded for a wider 14” pad or Thompson Fat pad. If swapping our pad for the Thompson pad (must be 4-bolt mount pattern), total bench height will increase 1/2 inch, and you will need to purchase (4) 3/8"(dia)x1"(length) bolts. -

The FB-5000 is a competition-style bench that features a thick CleanGrip™ back pad. The tripod base doesn’t interfere with foot placement during setup to optimize leg drive.
We recommend holding the bench down on one side, loosening the bolts on that side, and tightening until the bench pad is level and secure.
A mild dish detergent and water are the best cleaning agents for poly-vinyl pads. Use a sponge or clean cloth and soapy water to wipe to remove dirt and sweat from the vinyl. The CleanGrip™ material is grippy enough to shred a paper towel, so use cloth instead.
The new REP CleanGrip™ pads feature several improvements over our existing standard vinyl pads. The pad is now grippier than standard vinyl. It is comfortable yet firm and extra durable, with reinforced edges so the material stays taut. Read all about CleanGrip™ material here.
