These pads are about 14” wide, compared with standard CleanGrip™ pads that are typically 11-12” wide. A wide pad is ideal for larger lifters or people who want more shoulder support and comfort. A wide pad is ideal for larger lifters and people who want more shoulder support, and it can simulate a floor press. Smaller lifters may find a wide pad limits their full range of motion during lifts like bench press, so they might benefit more from a standard pad.

No, the original version and 2.0 version of the AB-3000 require different wide pads.
The AB-3000 2.0 seat has a width of 15” and tapers all the way down to 10.7”. It’s already considered a wide seat for better knee support for decline exercises. It can also be reversed if you prefer to have the narrower section in the front.
The purpose of the Wide Back Pad is to assist with shoulder support for lifters with broad shoulders. We have found a wide seat pad may not be necessary for most lifters. Also, the way the AB-4100 wide back pad tapers down toward the seat flows seamlessly into the Standard Seat Pad without needing it to be wider.
No, wide pads only change the width of the pad, not the height.

No, replacement pads do not come with hardware. These bench pads are meant to replace your current pad, so you can simply use the hardware on your current bench to mount the new pad.
A mild dish detergent and water are the best cleaning agents for poly-vinyl pads. With a sponge or clean cloth and soapy water, wipe off the vinyl to remove dirt, sweat, etc. The CleanGrip™ material is so grippy, it’ll hold onto and shred a paper towel, so use a rag instead.
