Best PR-5000 Alternative All-In-One Power Rack: PR-4000

The PR-4000 is like the PR-5000's fraternal twin sister. They look similar. They seem the same at first glance. However, there are a few distinctions that separate the two. First off, if you're looking for an all-in-one power rack, but want a more budget-friendly option to the PR-5000, this is your pick. While prices fluctuate, you'll typically find the PR-4000 costs about $300 to $400 less than the PR-5000.
However, that discount comes at a cost, and while you'll still have access to a large amaount of attachments — the Smith attachment, Athena® cable system, ARES™ cable system, and ARES™ 2.0 (all cable systems reguire 16-inch crossmembers on the PR-4000, that have 5/8-inch holes on the sides and 1-inch holes on the top and bottom) — you won't have as large an assortment of attachments as the PR-5000 does.
However, where the PR-4000 takes the cake over the PR-5000 is with its hole spacing, which features 2-inch hole spacing around the rack, except for in the becnh zone where there's 1-inch hole spacing for a more dialed in setup for your bench press.
Best Budget-Friendly All-In-One Power Rack: Altitude™ Rack
The Altitide™ rack brings the budget-friendly 1000-series pieces into the world of attachment capabilitites, with access to the Altitude™ cable system, Altitude™ Smith machine, in-rack storage solutions, and additional add-ons — but at a lower price than what's found with REP's other all-in-one racks.
The Altitude™ rack was built to provide entry-level simplicity with high-end customization, giving athletes of all levels access to the type of modular systems that the PR-4000 and PR-5000 are famous for.
In addition to the customization available for your training, this 6-post design is available in 83- and 90-inch heights, and you can choose the colorway to match your home gym aesthetic.
Best Space-Saving All-In-One Power Rack: Wall-Mounted ARES™ 2.0

Not everyone has the luxury of setting up a power rack in their home gym. When space is your primary concern, the wall-mounted ARES™ 2.0 delivers. This setup gives you a half rack to work with, dual cable systems for accessory work, and lat and seated row functionality to tackle your workout in a bite-size package — sticking out only 29-inches from the wall.
This is REP's most premium cable system, with two weight stacks for the dual-pulley system that can be combined with a 2-to-1 bar connector (not included) to double the work load for lat pulldowns and low rows.
To keep your setup clean and compact, opt for modular storage, like weight storage wings for your weight plates or a pegboard and hooks to organize your cable attachments and accessories. And if you're interested in bringing a Smith machine attachment in on the fun, adding additional uprights can give you this functionality.
What Makes a Power Rack "All-in-One"?
Okay, cool, an all-in-one rack sounds great, but what is it exactly? Typical power racks are a steel-framed structure, with four vertical posts that have holes where you can attach J-cups and safeties. These cages allow you to tackle big, compound lifts — like squats, bench press, and deadlifts.
Now, an all-in-one power rack, which REP specializes in, provide you with this basic functionality, plus the added ability to utilize attachments, supporting a wide assortment of training — cable work, guided lifts with a Smith machine, dips, pull-ups, and so much more.
