Two athletes work out with the Altitude™ rack.

The Altitude™ series was designed to bridge the gap between the 5000-series's customization capabilities and the 1000-series's budget price. Providing weight lifters with a (more affordable) setup that's capable of evolving as their training grows.

We'll cover everything you need to know about REP's newest engineering feat, including who it's for, what attachments are compatible, and all of your customization options on one of the best power racks on the market.

Introducing the Altitude™ Series

Start off with the Altitude™ rack, then add compatible Altitude™ series attachments to your setup when you're ready to tackle more. Here are all the Altitude™ series components:

Altitude™ Rack

An athlete does dips on the Altitude™ rack.

Best for: Anyone who wants an all-in-one training setup

This power rack is the foundation for a cohesive system that's designed to keep things simple while still giving you room to grow. It's an all-in-one rack that works as a complete training setup, with no confusing compatibility issues — just choose any attachment in the Altitude™ ecosystem and you're good to go. It's a dependable power cage for home gym owners, with a 700-pound weight capacity, 6-post layout, and laser-cut numbers every two holes to make setup quick and easy.

You'll also have your choice of upright heights — 83 or 90 inches — and a range of finishes to suit your aesthetic: metallic black, red, blue, white, matte black, olive, and even stainless steel.

And when you're ready to expand your training, add the Altitude™ attachment of your choice to incorporate a cable system, Smith machine, dips, safeties, and more to your home gym setup.

Altitude™ Cable Attachment

Best for: Lat pulldowns, low rows, tricep pushdowns, pallof press, cable chops, and more

Turn your power rack into a cable machine with the Altitude™ cable attachment — providing you with the versatility of a functional trainer without the need for a stand alone machine. Tackle kickbacks, overhead tricep extensions, lat pulldowns, rows, cable flys and more with dual selectorized weight stacks featuring 170-pounds per stack (feels like 85 pounds) — or upgrade each stack to 270 pounds (feels like 135 pounds).

This cable system includes the gear you need to get to work, including a lat pulldown bar, a low row/curl bar, D-handles, the REP® x Kleva Built® Atlas close-grip cable and landmine attachment, two clips to connect handles to the cables, and two 2.5 pound (feels like 1.25 pounds) integrated weights to make micro adjustments to both weight stacks.

Altitude™ Smith Machine Attachment

Best for: Guided hip thrusts, rows, bench press, squats, and more

Add guided stability to your vertical lifts with the Altitude ™ Smith machine attachment. Designed to connect seamlessly to the front of the Altitude™ rack, this attachment delivers the benefits of a Smith machine without increasing your workout footprint — perfect for athletes who want controlled movement without the burden of a stand alone machine.

Built with a 400-pound weight capacity, ultra-smooth bearings, and integrated adjustable safety stops, the attachment provides confidence, control, and reliability for every rep. And with the twist-to-lock bar functionality, you can rack and rerack the weight wherever you need — making solo sessions and failed lifts safer.

Altitude™ Dip Attachment

An athlete tackles dips on the Altitude™ dip attachment.

Best for: Dips, knee raises, and L-sits

Add the Altitude™ dip attachment to your Altitude™ rack when you're ready to give your triceps, shoulders, and chest some targeted TLC. This attachment hooks onto the Altitude™ rack effortlessly thanks to its C-cup drop-in design, which uses plastic liners to protect your uprights from wear and tear.

The handles feature a 1.7-inch diameter for a natural, comfortable grip, along with an adjustable width from 18.3- to 24-inches to suit your frame. Weighing just 8.6 pounds, the attachment adds only 14 inches of depth when mounted to the rack and supports up to 400 pounds — making it easy to handle yet rock-solid in use.

Altitude™ Strap Safeties

An athlete tackles bench press witht he Altitude stap safeties setup to catch her fail.

Best for: Bench press, squats, rack pulls, and more

Whether you're training on your own or lifting heavy, you need safeties to keep you safe and confident. The Altitude™ strap safeties feature a QUICKLOCK™ bracket, which flip into place like a J-cup, and a durable 2-inch nylon construction that absorbs impact better than steel for a quiet drop.

You'll also find multiple front and back mounting points which allow you to place the straps exactly where you need them. At 8 pounds per side, supporting up to 400 pounds, with 27-inches of usable length and heavy-duty bolts, you can rest easy knowing setup and your working sets are covered.

Altitude™ Leg Roller

An athlete does a nordic curl with his feet secured beneth the Altitude™ leg roller attachment.

Best for: Hip thrust, Bulgarian split squats, lat pulldowns, nordic curls, and more

The Altitude™ leg roller is a seemingly simple attachment with a wealth of versatility. Attach it to the Altitude™ rack at varying heights to hold you down during pulldowns, support your back during hip thrusts, elevate your back leg during Bulgarians, and so much more — with a high-density polyurethane foam pad wrapped in vinyl that's comfortable, durable, and stable.

When your work is done, the attachment flips down to sit flush against the rack, helping to keep you space tidy. Plus, protective liners on each bracket keep your uprights safe from wear, and the magnetic pin system locks (and unlocks) the pad quickly for easy transitions from one move to the next.

Altitude™ J-Cups

A close up look at the Altitude™ J-cups.

Best for: Squats, bench press, inverted rows, shoulder press, and holding your barbell in place

J-cups are essential for any power rack, allowing you to rack and unrack your barbell exactly where you need it. The Altitude™ J-cups feature the same elevated engineering seen across all of REP's equipment, with thoughful design and reliable performance.

Built specifically for the Altitude™ rack, they offer a 700-pound rackable weight capacity and include urethane and plastic liners to protect both your barbell and the J-cups from scratches. Once locked into place, these J-cups won't shift, swing, or move — providing the stability you need to focus on your lifts.

Altitude™ Cable Attachment Weight Stack Upgrade

An athlete does a tricep pushdown on the Altitude™ rack with Altitude™ cable attachment.

Best for: Progressive overload and heavier lifts

As your strength progresses, Altitude™ is designed to progress with you. That’s why we offer an upgrade that increases each cable attachment’s weight stack from 170 lbs to 270 lbs — giving you a combined total of 540 lbs across the system. Thanks to the 2:1 pulley ratio, you benefit from extended cable travel for greater exercise range, while the resistance you feel is effectively reduced by half, meaning 540 pounds will feel like 270 pounds.

The upgraded stacks are constructed from hot-rolled steel plates and manufactured with a tight 3% weight tolerance, ensuring reliable performance and long-term durability.

Who Is the Altitude™ Series For?

Most people can benefit from the Altitude™ series, but here are the key users we think should choose Altitude™ over other options:
