A 1:1 ratio means 20lbs on the cable creates 20lbs of resistance for you to move. These are also called single-pulley machines. A 2:1 ratio means 20lbs feels like 10lbs. These are also called double-pulley machines. A 2:1 ratio is great for functional training, when you want a faster-traveling cable. A 1:1 ratio is best for slower, strength-focused exercises (like rows and pulldowns).

I purchased this selectorized lat pull down / low row cable machine for my REP PR-1000 Power Rack, and couldn’t be happier with it! It adds so much versatility to my rack, and gives me a ton of workout options. It attached to my rack beautifully, and adds more stability to it (a nice added bonus). I have no regrets with purchasing this equipment.

I upgraded from a plate loaded cable system on my old rack, and the pin selector weight stack is definitely worth the upgrade, it's so much quicker and easier to use. The components feel high quality and the aluminum pulleys are really smooth. The swivel on the low pulley is what made me decide on this cable system. This was my first piece of equipment from REP and I'm impressed.

The selectorized low row /lat pull was exactly what I needed in my home gym. It fit perfectly with my PR1100, and the low pulley rotates which is perfect.
It comes with a fixed lat pull bar and a fixed straight bar. The lat pull bar - has average knurling with rubber handles. It's decent. The straight bar leaves much to be desired - especially for curls, triceps ext, etc - not having rotation makes those exercises awkward. Of course you can purchase after market bars, so that's not necessarily a huge issue.
Also, the aluminum pulleys are smooth as butter.
The quality is excellent, the look is top notch, and 200# is more than I need. The details are well thought out - pegs for bands (which work perfect for micro loading with plates), magnetic pin, machined cable pulley plate details.
One caveat is preventing me from giving it 5 stars - the top plate mount slides and glides without issue by it self. However, when I add more weight plates, one side slightly tilts and causes friction on the lowering. I added copious amounts of silicone lubricant which helps, but it still has a slight sticking point of the way down. When I stop the cables in mid air, I can see a decent gap between the top plate and lower plates - which allows for some side to side plate play. I've adjusted the screw in the top plate to higher, lower, etc without much improvement.
It would be a 5+ star product if I could figure our how to resolve that issue.
