The camber design puts the weight comfortably in front of the body for good balance. The weight is evenly distributed allowing the bar to be used with no hands. -
RACKABLE
The distance between the cambers allows for easy racking and un-racking, even on wide 49" racks the bar will sit flush and securely. -
HARD CHROME SLEEVES
The hard chrome sleeves are a premium material known for its for durability and protection while sliding plates on and off the bar. They are a standard 2" diameter so no need to invest in specialty collars. -
HIGH DENSITY PAD
The firm yet comfortable, textured pad is made from high-density foam wrapped in vinyl. It is incredibly durable and easy to clean. -
KNURLED HANDLES
The beefy handles are fully knurled to provide a comfortable feel and secure grip during your lifts. They are also removable, adding versatility to this bar in movement and with more handle attachments currently in development. -
CLEAN FINISH

The REP safety squat bar is designed to be rackable on the standard 47” width of REP’s racks, as well as racks with up to a 49” width. It will sit flush and secure and not tilt your j-cups in.
Our barbells are designed to work with any standard plates with 2” diameter center holes.
It ships in two packages: one box for the bar and handles, and one box for the pad.
No, some assembly required, but it is minimal and easy. The pad will need to slide over the bar into place and be Velcroed in the back. The handles need to be screwed into the main bar shaft. Total assembly time is about 5 minutes.
No. One of the benefits of a SSB is it loads your body in a different way than a standard barbell. However, the vertical path of the barbell should remain unchanged from a standard squat. If the plates rotate while using a SSB, that can cause instability, which is not what you want when squatting heavy!
Yes, there is a lifetime warranty* for the bar and a 1-year warranty for the pad.

I did my research before deciding on this bar and have to agree with all the reviews that I watched. This is the one to beat! Having used the Elite FTS SSB I knew that the balance was perfect and this bar perfectly replicates that geometry. The powder coat finish and hard chrome sleeves are light years beyond the other SSB offerings and the pad is very firm making it durable for the long haul. I did have an issue with the pad, but Rep’s customer service took care of it immediately adding to the reasons to buy from them. I love the knurled handles and high quality vinyl. This is hands down the way to go. Keep up the great work Rep!

Nice safety, squat, bar, comfy, padding, nice knurled handles, nice finish to the bar. Good balance to the bar, though not the most aggressive camber out there. Would recommend. Great addition to the arsenal, especially with my bad shoulders.

The best SBB in the market. It fits well in my ML squat rack from a competitor. Sits well on a pair of sandwich cups with a good 1-2 inch of room on both sides

Love this bar, what an absolute delight, I had my kids to unpack and assemble, they were amazed by the level of detail of this bar. The pad material is fantastic, the vinyl is top tier, the fit and finish is beautiful. The fit and balance is perfect!
