Then quickly loosen it when it’s time to lift lighter weight; simply undo the fastener and pull on the buckle. The end of the hook-and-loop strap has a small tab that doesn't secure to the belt. This pull tab allows you to quickly change the tightness, which is especially beneficial for HIIT-style training, where you often move between different weights. Measure the size of your waist – the circumference where you want to wear the belt -- while you’re in your workout clothing. Generally, you want to center the belt over your belly button.
