REP brought the heat to Cologne, Germany for FIBO, the world’s largest fitness trade show — and this year, the energy was unmatched. With a packed booth, an iconic throne made entirely from REP equipment, and thousands of attendees getting hands-on with our latest innovations, FIBO 2025 marked a turning point in how lifters everywhere connect with REP.

The message was clear: People around the world know who REP is and they’re pumped about what we’re building. So are we. Here’s a look at some of our favorite moments from FIBO.

The Products Everyone’s Talking About

We brought a full arsenal of equipment, but four standouts stole the spotlight:

1. Leg Curl/Leg Extension Attachment

Leg curl/leg extension bench attachment

We’ve long dominated upper-body and barbell-centric training, but our new Leg Curl/Leg Extension bench attachment is a total game-changer for lower body versatility. As REP co-founder Shane McGrotty put it, “You can do RDLs and squats all day long, but [this attachment] adds versatility. Now you can work hams and quads without heavy RDLs.”

Attach it to a compatible REP bench (like the NightHawk™ adjustable bench) or cable system and unlock targeted posterior chain training without the learning curve or heavy loading.

2. Smith Machine Attachment

A 3/4 view of the REP Smith Machine Attachment installed onto the front of a PR-5000 4-post power rack with 80” uprights and 16” crossmembers at a 7 degree angle. The top mounts to a new cross member extension on front of the power rack, and the bottom is attached to front foot extenders.

Built to integrate directly onto the PR-4000 or PR-5000 power racks, the new Smith Machine Attachment is a sleek, space-saving powerhouse. It’s engineered for performance across all levels.

“Being on a linear plane is nice so you can focus on specific muscles without having to worry about the bar,” Shane explains. “It’s also a safer tool for beginners and a more efficient setup for things like hip thrusts.”

This is next-gen Smith machine training: stronger, smarter, and more modular than ever.

3. Strive Series Curved Treadmill

Sled function. Smooth glide. Built like a tank. Our Strive Series Treadmill turns cardio into a strength challenge. No electricity required.

“Other sled treadmills weren’t strong enough for advanced lifters. Ours is, Shane says.

People at FIBO couldn’t believe how much of a workout they got from just a few sprints – especially when they tapped into the sled pulling function.

4. Adjustable Dumbbells + Carts

Matte black REP® Adjustable Dumbbell Stand with QuickDraw™ adjustable dumbbells.

We paired our QuickDraw and REP® x PÉPIN FAST Series™ adjustable dumbbells with new specially designed carts and stands, giving lifters the ease of traditional dumbbells with space-saving efficiency, ergonomics, and organization.

“These are the best adjustable dumbbells in the world,” Shane says and the overwhelmingly excited response from the crowd at FIBO confirmed this, again and again.

The REP Experience

REP's exhibit at FIBO

Our booth wasn’t just a showroom or a table of talking heads. It was a hands-on playground. We brought not only our sales team, but also our engineers and product designers, giving attendees the rare chance to meet the minds behind the machines. Full walkthroughs, live demos, and build-your-space consults made REP more than a brand; it made us a real partner in your strength story.

We also showcased:

  • The 6-post Ares 2.0 attachment + Smith Machine Attachment

  • The Arcadia functional trainer (currently on sale for 25% off through April 30 in the EU)

  • Hyperion™ Series 1: Cable Crossover

In addition, new benches like the NightHawkbench (on presale for the EU now!), BlackWing bench, and AB-5200 2.0 turned heads especially with the leg curl/extension attachment in action.

Our space-saving Colorado short bar, new Strata Weight Vest (you read that right! It debuted at FIBO before even touching our website!), and fresh new cardio lineup (including the Assault AirBike) rounded out a seriously stacked arsenal.

The Throne Everyone Wanted

REP's throne at FIBO

In addition to the chance to play on some of the best equipment in the world, another huge draw at the REP booth was our Game-of-Thrones-inspired throne made entirely from REP gear including 47 barbells! The seat: a REP Utility Seat. The back: a fan of uprights, plates, and welded barbells.

Thousands of people lined up to sit, pose, and even perform elaborate photo ops (someone even did a backbend).

This unique throne took three months to build. And it was worth every second. We hope that people walked away remembering not just our equipment, but the feeling of being at our booth. The feeling of strength and excitement.

A Growing Force in Global Fitness

Throughout the convention, the buzz was electric. We were humbled and proud to see how blown away attendees were by our products and innovation. We loved hearing the comments (“These cables are so smooth!” “This is so well made!”) while connecting with the people who love and use our equipment.

That’s why we do what we do.

“People are excited by what we’re building,” says Shane. “Making equipment that works, listening to our community, and staying focused on quality that goes a long way.”

Connect With Us

Everything we brought to FIBO is still evolving; many of these products are prototypes being tested and refined to become the best in the world. We welcome feedback from our community and encourage everyone to share their thoughts in the REP Facebook Community.

REP isn’t just building equipment. We’re building something bigger: connection.

Thank you, FIBO. See you next year bigger, better, and stronger than ever.
