Former champs coach next gen athletes — on REP iron.
Walk into KNGDM Sports Performance in Englewood, Colorado and you’ll find 30,000 square feet of space built to make athletes faster, stronger, and harder to tackle. Founded by Joe Parker in late 2022, KNGDM opened its doors in January 2024 and is already finishing an expansion. The coaching staff includes former NFL players and Super Bowl champions, and the gym leads Colorado in Division I athlete commits. On any given month, 300 to 500 athletes cycle through the facility for private and group training across football, soccer, lacrosse, basketball, volleyball, tennis, and the state’s growing girls flag football scene.
We sat down with Joe to talk equipment choices, gym layout headaches, and what it’s like building a performance facility from scratch with REP gear anchoring the floor.
30,000 Square Feet of Go Time
KNGDM isn’t a globo gym with a smoothie bar (no shade to smoothie bars). It’s a performance facility that specializes in developing football athletes, with programming that translates to a long list of other sports. The space occupies the bottom floor of a larger building, with shared common areas and the gym taking up the interior. About 2,000 client accounts are on the books, and hundreds of athletes train there every month.
The goal from day one was total athlete development, and Joe’s vision goes beyond reps and sets. KNGDM invests in mental and spiritual growth as well as physical performance, which is the kind of whole-person approach that keeps athletes coming back long after their first training cycle.
Why REP Equipment
Joe’s relationship with REP started through Adam and Annie on the REP team, but he stuck around because of the customer experience, collaborative approach to testing new equipment, and the genuine care behind the partnership. When you’re outfitting 30,000 square feet, those relationships make a big difference to the whole experience.
“Aesthetics and usability come first for us, followed by price and durability,” Joe says. For a facility where athletes are rotating through stations all day, equipment has to look the part and hold up to serious volume, and REP checked both boxes.
The ordering and delivery process also got two thumbs up from Joe. REP sent team members on-site to help with setup, which Joe says set a new standard for customer service. That's the kind of premium treatment that makes re-ordering a no-brainer.
The REP ARES™ 2.0: One Rack to Rule the Floor

Ask Joe to pick a favorite piece of REP equipment and he doesn’t hesitate. The REP ARES™ 2.0 rack is the backbone of KNGDM’s programming. "It allows athletes to complete a wide variety of movements and circuits all in one area, which is essential for our programming," says Joe, which is a big deal when you’re running groups through structured sessions and can’t afford to have people wandering the floor looking for open equipment.
For a facility that trains athletes across multiple sports with different physical demands, versatility in a single footprint is everything. The REP ARES™ 2.0 brings all of that to the table without eating up more floor space than it needs to.
What the Athletes Think
The feedback from KNGDM’s members has been overwhelmingly positive. Joe says many of his athletes had never encountered REP equipment before training at KNGDM and wished they’d been exposed to it earlier in their careers. When athletes who’ve trained at college programs, NFL facilities, and elite performance centers are impressed by your gear, that says something.
Making the Space Work
KNGDM’s 30,000 square foot space sounds like a dream until you realize it’s not a standard rectangle, and the layout presents some unique challenges. REP's Adam Brandt, product marketing managre, and Annie Brunner, business development for education & athletics, stepped in with detailed renderings to help develop the best possible floor plan. Having someone on the equipment side who understands spatial planning (and actually cares about getting it right) made a real difference during buildout.
That kind of hands-on support is rare in the equipment world. Most companies ship your order and wish you luck, but REP showed up.
What’s Next for KNGDM
KNGDM is currently finishing its expansion, and the goals for 2026 and beyond are pretty ambitious. Joe wants the facility to become the premier total athlete development center in Colorado, one that focuses on physical performance while also investing in athletes’ mental and spiritual growth. It’s a holistic model that treats the person behind the jersey as more than a set of measurables.
The coaching staff is loaded with NFL experience, and they have growing roster of D1 commits, plus a facility full of REP equipment that can handle the volume, so we say it's definitely worth keeping an eye on what KNGDM is building.
Joe’s Advice for Gyms Considering REP
Joe doesn’t mince words. He believes REP is positioned to become the go-to equipment brand for performance gyms, and says the team, products, and commitment to innovation are unmatched in his experience. For gym owners weighing their options, that’s a strong endorsement from someone who’s done their homework.
Takeaway
KNGDM Sports Performance is a prime example of what happens when a clear vision meets the right tools. Joe Parker built a facility that develops the whole athlete, and REP equipment gives his coaching staff the versatility and durability to run high-volume programming without skipping a beat. From the REP ARES™ 2.0 anchoring the training floor to the hands-on service during layout and delivery, the partnership between KNGDM and REP shows what commercial outfitting looks like when both sides actually care about the outcome
