It depends on the frequency of use but only a couple of months. Asphalt will always be rough on plastic skis.
Plastic-lined skis are much quieter on hard surfaces than steel skis.

The skis are work great on my concrete basement floor. The power to move the sled is consistent because the skis don't randomly seem to grip something and they don't make the grating sound that drove my wife crazy like the old metal bottom skis.

I picked these up when I purchased the weight sled. I live in a townhouse complex and was worried about noise and damaging a shared asphalt driveway. The make the sled no louder than someone moving a trash can to the curb and leave no visible marks on the driveway. Great fit and finish.
